Vesal Yaghoobi

Vesal Yaghoobi is a painter whose work moves between figurative painting, portraiture, landscape, still life, and studies of the natural world.

His paintings are grounded in observation but often shaped by atmosphere: diffused light, quiet interiors, mist, distance, and moments of stillness. Across very different subjects — a city street, a solitary figure, a flower, an animal, or a landscape — the work returns to the emotional character of light and place.

Yaghoobi’s practice reflects a longstanding interest in both careful observation and interpretation. Rather than working within a single subject category, he approaches painting as a way of studying mood, form, human presence, and the surrounding world.
